This is the largest size of these tables made from 1880 onwards under the aegis of the British Residency In Hoshiapur and is a really good example with its profusion of decoration to the top and barber pole border.

A good sized George 1 gilt wall mirror c 1725 with wonderful original gilding.

Description :

A good George 1 gilt wall mirror c 1725 with swan neck pediment above a rectangular plate and shell mounted shaped frieze.

This is a really great example of an early Georgian pier mirror of good large size extremely rare in that it retains all of its original water gilding and unusually its brass candle sconces at the base.

The rear side of the mirror has good undercut carving and is beautifully dry and untouched.

The mirror plate is a good 18th c period replacement and the central crest is probably a 19th c replacement.
