A Victorian burr walnut and ebony crossbanded octagonal table attributed to Gillows c 1880 bearing a stamp 04327 to the underside.
Gillows merged with Collinson and Lock just after 1880 and this table is very much the sort of furniture the joint company produced in the 1880`s and similar tables stamped Gillow or Collinson and Lock appear from time to time on the market.

This particular design of Letchworth chair although clearly from the Heals range seems as yet unrecorded with unusual waved deep front stretchers and chippendale scrolled horizontal splats to the back. They also retain their original rushing.
