An unusual large Regency mahogany campaign sofa c 1815on turned and fluted mahogany legs brass cappings and castors.
This sofa would have been made for an Army or Military officer to take away on Campaigns . It is designed to be taken apart with screws on the frame and retains its original hessian squab to the seat , four back cushions and side bolsters. A very stylish and good looking sofa --it would look great in either contemporary or period surroundings.
