Description :
A fine quality Victorian freestanding oak pedestal desk c 1865 with crisp egg and dart carving to the frieze, plinth and the canted stiles in the style of Anthony Salvin. This desk is a lovely rich golden colour with a deep patination. The drawers are all lined in mahogany and have the original fluted knob handles. The green tooled leather has been recently sympathetically replaced by us .
