A wonderful late 19th century Somerset elm and pine shop counter with single piece beautifully figured elm top above an arrangement of pine drawers on one side and tongue and groove painted boards on the reverse side. This rare base from a Victorian shop in Bridgewater would make a fantastic dresser base or island for a large country house kitchen.
