A fabulous Victorian oak simulated oak and mahogany freestanding Shop or Haberdashers Counter circa 1870 with well figured single piece mahogany top . One side with two banks of four drawers all with the original blue lining paper above four fall front cupboard doors. The reverse side and ends pine painted to simulate oak flanked by classical columns. The top a beautifully figured single piece of mahogany with under end cleats. The top retains the original inset 3 foot boxwood haberdashers measure. At a serving height of 36 ins this would make a perfect freestanding kitchen island.
Price to include repairs to one column and a gentle wax all over if required.
