Description :
A set of 6 oak Gothic Reform dining chairs of House of Parliament type c 1865 after a design by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin. These comfortable chairs with padded backs and seats were made by Holland and Gillows amongst others for the new Houses of Parliament after the fire and copied by popular demand by other cabinet makers.
These chairs have been re covered in a blue/ grey cotton linen union fabric .
