An unusual Edwardian electric water depth gauge c 1910 by in a blue painted pine arched and glazed case by Glenfield and Kennedy of Kilmarnock.

This early piece of electric engineering would either make a great decorative item in a sailing lodge or boathouse or a restoration project for a student of early instruments.

One side glass panel missing.

Glenfield and Kennedy, still based in Kilmarnock, were the inventors and largest manafacturers of water gauges and pumps in the world from the mid 19th century.
