An unusual George IV goncales alves and walnut console table c 1825 the dished gilt metal mounted half round top with inset marble on a scrolled walnut leg with leaf carving to the knee and terminating in a claw foot.
This stylish table has been reconstructed from different period elements probably a small high quality centre table cut in half and a Regency scroll leg.
Provenance. Viscount Drumlanrig and then Sutton Veny Manor Wiltshire.
