Description :
An early Victorian parcel gilt button back library chair c 1840. This comfortable library or armchair is covered in old ticking and is in good order underneath. the legs have the original water gilding which has been partially over painted in a matt cream in places probably in the twenties. Its should readily come off to reveal the original gilding.
