Description :
A fine George 111 mahogany Hepplewhite period secretaire bookcase circa 1790, the upper part with arched and diamond glazed astragals, the lower part with a full front revealing a fitted interior with drawers. Above a pair of panel doors inset with oval veneers on shaped bracket feet. Provenance: Private collection North Dorset, purchased from Blanchards of Winchester in 1989 for £8750.
